Managing Workspace Settings

Setting Expiration

It is recommended to set an expiration for unsettled customer complaints. This allows you to track and evaluate cases where guests don't return, make informed decisions, and improve your process. Once complaints expire, they are moved to a separate section within the app but remain searchable for reference.

To set or modify the default expiration, follow these steps:

  1. Tap your store name in the top-left corner, then tap the gear icon in the top right to access workspace settings

  2. Under the "Settings" section, select "Set Expiration"

  3. Here, you can modify the expiration as needed

Setting Labor Cost

Labor cost values are used for analytics to provide insights into the costs associated with resolving customer complaints, and to help you make informed decisions to improve your restaurant's performance.

To set or modify your labor cost, follow these steps:

  1. Tap your store name in the top-left corner, then tap the gear icon in the top right to access workspace settings

  2. Under the "Settings" section, select "Set Labor Cost"

  3. Here, you can modify your labor cost as needed

Labor Cost

Labor cost refers to the value of the average employee wage per hour. For more accurate analytics, it is recommended to use the average wage of the users who are using the app. However, you can use any value that you prefer or find easiest to calculate.

Time Spent

Time spent refers to the estimated cumulative time it takes to resolve a complaint from start to finish, measured in minutes. Essentially, this is the average amount of time a user is taken away from your restaurant's operations to handle a customer complaint.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Customize the expiration setting based on your restaurant's typical complaint resolution time to keep your workspace organized and efficient

  • Periodically review and update labor cost values to ensure accurate analytics and reporting
